**Their travels bring them back to the cliff overlooking the ruined coastal city. Though it was the first visit for one of their party members - Miku, whom they'd met back at Kaito's home city. Since she acted so young and carefree, Kaito had tried to make their trip over as fun and happy as possible. But now that they were here, with the ghost town in sight, Kaito's smile sobered. This wasn't just a long camping trip. They had to get serious.

He shoved his hands in his pocket as he stared down on it. They'd probably want to pick up the supplies they weren't able to take last time. And more importantly, he really hoped that the boats in the harbor were seaworthy. The knowledge that their radio was in English was an excellent lead, but it meant that they had to get off of this island.**

[Hesitating, she nodded at him. It's better that she's not alone. She'd be so scared if she was by herself.

She waved back at Mekaito before addressing Kaito.]

Okay. I want to go with you.

[He could tell that it was stunning for her. He'd expected this, so he offered his arm like he'd let her hang off of before. That was what she meant, right? After all, they were all going down anyway...]

[Mekaito sat down on the building, letting his legs swing a little as he watched the other three. His wings were allowing him a short break.]

Taking his arm, she began to walk down with everyone towards the city.]

**Once they were down, he hopped off the building and stood in front, looking up at Kaito.**

Are we going to the boats now?

Hmm... I was thinking we'd get supplies, but come to think of it, if we found what boat we can to use if any, we can figure out how much we can store on it. Then we can get more things.

**so they all set off toward the boats. While they're searching, Kaito realizes that oh shit he has no idea how to sail. Mekaito promptly forbids him from looking up sailing books in the library. They eventually find a pretty good-looking boat with an on-board computer, and attempt to become one with it.**

[Thanks, Miku. He looks over to the computer. Well, better him than anyone else, at least. Hopefully it won't blow up on him. Or be chock full of viruses. Or have some sort of autorun uninstaller. Or some sort of malware that messes with his programming.

...yeah, he'd better get this over with before he loses what little nerve he has left.

It's surprisingly easy to connect to the system, but a little harder to navigate through it. It's somewhat unfamiliar and foreign with different names for certain functions and everything. He's... not quite sure about what he's looking for, so he just searches for something familiar.]

Oh. [He found something! Hopefully, this will...

Suddenly, the engine turns on as other screens on the boat light up. He has successfully found the 'on' switch.]

**looks around and seems satisfied as the boat comes to life.**

**Kaito was also excited when everything started up, and looked around with a "heh, told you so" kind of face. After a moment though, he noticed that KAITO was kind of spacing out, so he leaned over slightly to whisper to Miku.**
