**Thanks to Dr. Sweet Ann, KAITO seems to be fully repaired from his run-in with Conchita. He and Kaito exit the hospital building, accompanied by the multilingual Sonika, and are showed to a hotel, run by a nice lady named LOLA. However, they don't stay long there - Miku and Mekaito left the hospital early to explore, and so it's time to meet up with them again, and then they can all relax.**

[he pauses before continuing:] There used to be a lot of cities like this. It was always fun [and here he looks embarrassed] to visit. There were plenty of places to go.

[you and your sense of humor. anyway, KAITO proceeds to call for Miku and the little Kaito.]

[he walks in the direction he had suggested, calling as they turn corners and such. There don't seem to be any people out for Sonika to talk to.]

[and that's when a blur of green came barreling at him.]

Kaito! [aaaand impact. she doesn't even mind that he stumbles back to support her. she wouldn't care if he had fallen over. he was here.]

[hurries up to keep up with Miku, and there's KAITO. He looks up at him]


Welcome back, KAITO.

[He has an armful of Miku right now, but he manages to use his other arm to reach down and ruffle Mekaito's hair. Come on over, little guy.]

[and it might've been somewhat ridiculous and silly, but KAITO is totally in the mood for it. He also beckons the man over with a smile.]

[looking behind at Sonika like wat, but chuckles when he looks over at KAITO]

[he moves into the hugzone, let's do it]

[what is this a football play? then again, Miku is very near tackling him over so it might not be too far off. Now that Kaito's in range, KAITO reaches over to hug him as well.

...it was nice to be back.]

[no, no football. You all remember the last time Mekaito tackled someone?

Kaito hugs back, getting Miku in there too. It's not the most comfortable hug he's ever had, but it's a great feeling inside. Everyone back together for the first time in weeks. He wants to say something cool, but he suspects he might choke, so instead he just grins widely.]

[...oh right. Yes, none of that. We don't want that.]

[After a moment, KAITO starts to pull back.] It's good to see everyone again.

[they had all been pretty worried, and pushing him around in the chair was-wait, celebratory mood]

But you look better than ever now! No more wheelchair.

[or ... plants. He was amazed that they'd found some during the long hours of "surgery."]

I feel better. [He moves his leg around as if to prove it.]

A jumprope? [he pauses, a little confused by the sudden offer, before suddenly laughing. He was acting ridiculous, wasn't he?]
