**So, Kaito, KAITO and Mekaito have been traveling for a short while now. Mekaito is still playing the radio because I guess it has an infinite life cheat or something and trailing behind the others, waiting for commands and giving the occasional input. Kaito is roaming about, staring at all of the pretty flowers and random wildlife with amazement. It's overwhelming compared to the bleakness of his hometown.**

[The figure doesn't respond until Mekaito comes closer with the radio. His head jerks a little, as if he was shying away from the sound.]

**blinks when the figure seems to flinch at the noises the radio is making. Walks a few steps away to set it down in the corner, then comes back to stare again.**

[He relaxes, but the noise has effectively 'woken' him up. His eyes are a little clearer, glowing with life. However, he can't turn his head completely to look at Mekaito due to the damage. Instead he tries to say something, only for it to come out in strange garbles.

His worn out processor was working double-time to sort things out. Lights from the chips inside his body could be seen flickering where the 'skin' was broken.]

**he's not sure he understands. Mekaito's never actually seen what he or other machines look like from the inside, since he was sent into sleep fairly soon after he was created and never had to be cracked open for repairs or anything.

So the lights and chips are mysterious to him. The noises sound kind of like the ones the radio was making when he drew closer. Maybe it's some kind of machine language? He listens to see if he can draw any conclusions, tries repeating the broken Vocaloid a bit. And moves a few steps over so that eye contact can be made. Kind of waves.**

[Another twitch before his processors are finally working consistently enough to function. There's another jerk of the head before he can finally lift it properly. He knows the proper response is to wave in return, but can't bring himself to raise his hand. Instead, he tries to speak. It takes a few tries, but he manages some sounds.]

I- I. N-n. Name.

**oh, he does speak. Probably notices some feeble attempts at raising the hand, and recalls that KAITO had the same problem at times on a smaller scale. Beginning to connect the dots, but feels no need to point out the obvious. Knows what a name is. He puts a hand to his chest and taps it lightly**

[His eyes flicker left and right, as if he was trying to read something. He was, in a sense. It was a slow and painful process, but he managed to find something hiding beneath all the corrupted data.]

[He jerks a little to the side from another futile attempt to move. When it doesn't work, he just stares into Mekaito's face. He's trying to hard to see.]

**something's wrong here. Mekaito crosses his arms and thinks. He knows he's definitely not anyone's Master. Is Len asking about his own master or Mekaito's?**

[True, Len doesn't have a choice. He hardly acknowledges Mekaito leaving at all. Now that he's awake, he'll probably spend this time to scan and see what was left of his data.]
