**So, Kaito, KAITO and Mekaito have been traveling for a short while now. Mekaito is still playing the radio because I guess it has an infinite life cheat or something and trailing behind the others, waiting for commands and giving the occasional input. Kaito is roaming about, staring at all of the pretty flowers and random wildlife with amazement. It's overwhelming compared to the bleakness of his hometown.**

That's true. You look like his son - your master - too. I'm sure he did it on purpose.

That's true... [It's not like he never noticed the resemblance. Even their names were similar. It really stunned him, at first.]

But I wasn't created by the same person. I was made by a company, so that other users could pay to use me.

So KAITO had lots of Masters....

In a way. I was with my last master the longest, though.

What was KAITO's master like?

He was very kind and gentle to me. He didn't treat me like a 'product' -- he treated me like I was human. I really enjoyed being with him... I always did.

[He smiles, remembering:] He gave me some ice-cream, one day. I loved it. It used to be my favorite food. He ate a lot of ice-cream too, every day.

Ice.... cream...? [Now where have I heard that before?]

... Oh! First master liked it too.

He had a big bucket on his lap the whole time when he was teaching me, and he kept eating it, but I didn't ask for any. I wasn't hungry.

[he doesn't realize that he will never BE hungry and that androids would pretty much only eat it for fun]

Really? My master was like that, too. He gave me some because I asked about it. He'd give himself headaches from eating too much too quickly, sometimes.

[He was starting to get lost in all this nostalgia.] It was fun. Back then.

Yes, mine got a headache once. That's when the first Master told me what pain is.

It was nice to learn things.

... Maybe that's why Master is studying?
