**So, Kaito, KAITO and Mekaito have been traveling for a short while now. Mekaito is still playing the radio because I guess it has an infinite life cheat or something and trailing behind the others, waiting for commands and giving the occasional input. Kaito is roaming about, staring at all of the pretty flowers and random wildlife with amazement. It's overwhelming compared to the bleakness of his hometown.**

**a heavy cough could be heard from the back of the room, and after a moment -**

Y, yeah! Just a moment...

**Kaito is in between bookshelves, pulling another two off the shelf. One of the library computers was on - seems he was experimenting with it, there's a book next to it as though he was following instructions. Kaito was smart enough to open one of the library windows, so the books he's been reading are piled around near the table closest to it. It doesn't seem like the window was enough though - his cough seems to be chronic, but he's acting like he hardly notices it.

If the books were to be examined, it seems that Kaito's been studying everything the library has to offer on computers and robotics, and some books that are just about technology in general. One of them is on how radios work for example - maybe he wants to see if they can make more use out of the one they have.**

**emerging from the bookshelves, he coughs again and waves**

What's up?

[What's with the deep coughing? He pauses to watch Kaito curiously before glancing at the area. The place was... well, it was a mess when they first came in. It was definitely a mess now that there was some activity to stir things up. Especially this dust.]

Are you all right? [His attention is back at Kaito now.] Do you need help?

You're worried about me?

**he coughs again, and looks down self consciously. Well, now that someone else mentions it, he does have kind of a headache. It's been harder to read, that's for sure**

...Well I'm okay, it's just the dust that's making me cough....

**he massages his temples a bit and sets down the books on the table with the others**

[The way the man is rubbing his head makes KAITO even more worried. He steps closer to offer any assistance.]

Do you want to take a break? We can go outside for a while.

Eeeee I'm so sorry I didn't respond ;o; I was doing that huge Mayfield raid on Grady xD;;;

**Kaito thinks about that, then sighs**

... Maybe I should. None of this is really sinking in.

**he coughs again**

[Every time Kaito coughs, KAITO's concern grows. He steps to the side to escort the man to the entrance/exit.]

It was kind of crazy, I don't think KAITO wanted to be there anyway. xD

Ah... this library is abandoned, so I could probably just take the books with me, couldn't I?

**Kaito is escorted out, and well, when KAITO gets close enough to hear, it should be fairly obvious that his breathing is irregular. But it's more than that.**

[What can he say? He just walks next to Kaito, keeping an eye on him, and heads out the doors.]

TODAY I FINALLY FOUND A HUMAN OTHER THAN MY MASTER. SHE SHANKED HIM AND TRIED TO EAT HIS LEGS. FML

**once outside, he takes a deeeep breath.

God it sounds horrible. He's feeling some chest pain too. Huh, he's starting to think that maybe he was in there for way too long**

[He wants to reach out to try to steady the other man, but he's not sure if that's overstepping his boundaries or not. Instead, he just hovers there in concern.]

Sick is when there's something wrong, [he tries to explain.] A person doesn't feel good and becomes weaker because their health is bad.

[He looks back at Kaito's coughing fits and rubs the man's back. It's mostly for comfort - something he learned from his previous master.]

We should... do something. Go somewhere else.
