**After the library of doom made Kaito cough his lungs out, our Kaito Team has decided to go back to the city behind the wall. Kaito's illness has gotten much worse due to his weakened immune system and sleeping outside all the time. But now, here they are. He finds himself staring up at the wall with mixed emotions of relief and dread. How in the hell are they going to sneak in?**

[That really was a good hiding spot. KAITO, unfortunately, settled for hiding in the room and closing the door... sort of. He did leave it just a tiny bit open, just in case.]

**Kaito closed the crack in the curtains and turned his back to the window, throwing an errant glance toward the door. She was going to knock any minute... just act natural**

[Knock, knock, knock -- here she was. She really hoped she'd get some real answers now that Ryou wasn't here to harass Kaito. Before he'd arrived, her friend had said some really curious things. She couldn't just leave it at that.]

... Again! **he made an addendum, since "Kaito" had met her earlier. Right.**

[She quickly invited herself inside, wanting to get down to business. She didn't go all the way into the main area, just the entrance. She wasn't that rude, just a little demanding right now.]

**oh, crap. He hadn't gotten from KAITO what they'd actually spoken about. She seemed serious, what did he even tell her? Time to stall until he could think of something.**

My clothes? **he looked down. Oh. She'd met KAITO, who was not wearing pyjamas, certainly** Ah, right!

I have a bit of a cold so I took a nap for a bit. **milks his cough a bit...**

[She can't deny that his coughing is really worrying, no matter how sudden it was. It makes her calm down a bit.]

[She sighs, watching him for a moment before rubbing his shoulder.]

[She trails off.] Maybe it's because you're sick. I can go get a doctor for you.

N-no, you can't! **cough,coughcoughcough**

... I ... I went outside of the walls. They can't know I'm here.

And you're really sick, Kaito. I can't just watch you like this. They'll understand, I'm sure they will. Just let me take care of it.

[She looks like she's about ready to leave.]

They won't, Naomi, they - **has to stop, okay that coughing fit is seriously sounding bad...**

**...suddenly, he just. Drops.**

[She rushes over to him, trying to catch him and only barely able to do so.]

Kaito! [She shrieks.] Kaito!

[A hand reaches over to help support Kaito's body. KAITO couldn't stay hidden while the man was unconscious like this. He had to do something, even if it meant disobeying again.]

The couch, [he says to Naomi.] Let's bring him there.

**Mekaito had ran after KAITO, but he suddenly realized that he could not pass for human, and disobeying would have worse consequences if done by himself. So he hung in the doorway, pulling it mostly closed again and staring out the crack with worry**
